Welcome to the Kinnect Community and our first ever News Letter. Kinnect Volleyball Club is founded on the principle of building community through the sport of volleyball for boys in Santa Cruz County, Monterey County, San Benito County, and Santa Clara County. We hope the people you meet through Kinnect will become your chosen family. We have both experienced the immense support and love that the volleyball community has to offer. As directors of Kinnect, we will be casting our net wide and bringing that same support and love to as many people as possible. We are eternally grateful for our loyal returners and our newcomers. We hope you all decide to join us for our summer and fall programs.
We would like to introduce the Kinnect summer programs
that you can look forward to and use to prepare for
Fall Tryouts (August 7th).
Camp Kinnect
Our indoor developmental camp is designed for middle school players to prepare for club tryouts. It's a good way to get indoor touches while working on skills that coaches will be looking for during fall club tryouts. 8 weeks of fun with middle school teammates and opponents from other schools in the area.
Beach Training Groups
Our beach training groups help develop speed, strength, and confidence during the indoor off-season with conditioning twice a week tied together with some fun in the sun.
Skills Clinics
Clinics are skill specific to help players work on technique. This is where we will get extra reps with serving, setting, serve receiving, blocking, and many more important skills needed to bring your game to the next level.
Open Gyms
Open gyms enable players to come to play 6 v 6 for free with other players in the community regardless of skill level or age. We provide a safe space to play with new friends and grow with the older boys. We would love to see parents also come and play with the boys.
Then as the summer closes out be ready for our family fun Blades of Glory Grass Volleyball Tournament as well as Fall Club Tryouts.
Blades of Glory Grass Tournament
This is our second annual coed 4s grass volleyball tournament. Make a team with family, friends, teammates, or fellow volleyball lovers.
Fall Tryouts 2022-2023 Club Season
This is a competitive season involving three practices a week and several tournaments. The season runs from the beginning of August to the beginning of January. We compete with the top teams in Northern California while fighting for a bid to compete with the top teams in the nation.
