Rowdy Lennon

15s Head Coach

Rowdy grew up in Mar Vista, California and played Outside Hitter for the club MB Surf. At MB Surf he earned two Bronze medals in the open division at Nationals his 16's and 18's year. He attended Santa Monica High school where he played Varsity Volleyball for four years. Earned All-CIF Division 2 and 3 team in 2016 and 2017. Ocean League's Most Valuable Player in 2017 and Ocean League's Most Outstanding Player in 2016. Rowdy attended Santa Monica City College where he earned the honor of Men's Volleyball Student-Athlete of the year, Dean's honor list, as well as Captain for both his years there. He finished 3rd in the state in kills per set, sixth in the state for total kills, and earned All-Conference team in 2019. He then transferred to UC Santa Cruz where he was elected Team Captain, made the Academic All-District team, and led the team in kills in 2021. During his time as a coach, Rowdy won the 15's division Gold medal at Nationals in 2019 with MB Surf. Coached numerous youth volleyball programs such as Santa Cruz Beach Volleyball club. He is now currently the Assistant Coach for the Women's and

Men's team at UC Santa Cruz. On the beach, Rowdy has earned his CBVA AAA, won a Santa Cruz Open, and played an AVP Main Draw. When he's not working, he enjoys hanging out with friends, playing volleyball, playing guitar, being active, and watching the Lakers.
